The Sugar Maple Nature Trail is a loop which can be accessed via a trailhead across from Cathedral Drive, via the Homestead Parking Area, or by the Long Valley Road boat landing. We only had time to hike 2 trails: Bluff Trail and Sentinel Ridge trail and both were steep but enjoyable, with some nice views of the river valley. FYI Bluff Trail gets super muddy and slippery if it has rained recently. Was bummed we didn't have time to hike Sugar Maple to see the waterfall. As for camping, the sites were pretty decent Wyalusing State Park offers a number of cross-country ski trails for all levels of skiing abilities. All trails are accessible from the Astronomy Center Parking Lot. Skiing trails include the Turkey Hollow, Whitetail Meadows and Prairie trails. Cathedral Tree Drive affords the cross-country skier a beautiful view of the Mighty Mississippi I had already lightly rolled my right ankle once on Big Sand Cave Trail and once coming down Sentinel Ridge on my way to Sugar Maple.
